La carta esférica

In Barcelona Coy meets Tánger, a myserterious and attractive woman. After a tremendous struggle with Palmero she manages to gain control of the Maratime Atlas of Urrutia. However, a fourth character appears on the scene, Horatio Kiskoros.

Coy discovers that all three of the others have a common goal, the Dei Gloria, a shipwrecked brigantine that was transporting a mysterious treasure.

Fascinated by Tánger, Coy takes her side and he follows her on to the Buenavero, a notorious sailing ship. The ship belongs to El Piloto who also joins the search for the lost treasure. It is a journey that will change all their lives forever.

 

 

Coy conoce en Barcelona a una atractiva y misteriosa mujer, Tanger, que  en dura pugna con Palermo, consigue hacerse con el Atlas Marítimo de Urrutía. Pero un cuarto personaje aparece en escena, Horacio Kiskoros.

Coy descubre que estos tres personajes tienen un objetivo común, el Dei Gloria, un bergatín hundido, que transportaba un misterioso tesoro.

Fascinado por Tánger, Coy tomará partido por ella, aunque implique seguirla a bordo de El Buenaventura, un velero de acusada personalidad, propiedad de El Piloto, que participará también en la búsqueda de tesoro que les cambiará la vida a todos ellos.

Ladrones

Alex is a young man whose only talent is being able to steal. He was taught by his mother before she was arrested on the platform of an underground station when he was only seven years old. After leaving the orphanage he intended to make a name for himself in the outside world.

However, his efforts were in vain as he soon returned to the only thing he knew how to do, steal. His life changes when he meets Sara, a ¨good girl¨. Her only worries are school exams and what she is going to wear.

Alex es un joven que lo único que sabe hacer en la vida es robar, actividad que le enseñó su madre antes de ser detenida por la policía en el andén de una estación de metro cuando él sólo tenía 7 años. Tras dejar el centro tutelar de menores, intenta buscar un hueco en la sociedad.

Sus esfuerzos son vanos, ya que al poco tiempo regresa a la calle para hacer lo que mejor sabe: robar. Su vida cambia cuando conocer a Sara, una ‘niña bien’ cuyas únicas preocupaciones son los exámenes trimestrales y la elección de su vestuario.

Bajo las estrellas

Benito Lacunza (Alberto San Juan) a useless trumpet player returns to the town where he grew up for his fathers funeral. He soon discovers that his kind brother Lalo (Julian Villagran), knicknamed Iron Man because he likes to make sculptures from scrap iron, is about to get married.

His fiancee is Nines (Emma Saurez) a single mother who knows Benito from childhood who Benito knows from their good times. Benito intends to save his brother from such a fate, but doesn’t count on his daughter Ainara (Violeta Rodriguez). She is a rebelious, introverted girl with whom Benito ends up forging an unusual relationship.

 

Benito Lacunza (Alberto San Juan) trompetista de tres al cuarto, vuelve a su pueblo natal para el entierro de su padre. Allí descubre que su bondadoso hermano Lalo (Julián Villagrán) - apodado el Hierros porque se dedica a hacer esculturas con chatarra -está a punto de casarse.

Su novia es Nines (Emma Suárez), una madre soltera a quien Benito conoce de sus juergas adolescentes. Benito se propone salvar a Lalo de Nines… pero no cuenta con Ainara (Violeta Rodríguez), la hija de ella, una niña rebelde e introvertida con quien Benito acabará trabando una insólita amistad.

La Soledad

Adela is a young girl who is seperated from her husband and has a one year old son. She is tired of living in the small town where she has been since birth. She leaves the mountains behind to go to Madrid with its noise, traffic and fast paced life. To pay her way, she finds a job as a hostess and moves into a flat with Carlos and Ines with whom she hits it off immediately.

Antonia, Ines´mother runs a small local supermarket. She leads a quiet life with her boyfriend Manolo and her three children Ines, Nieves and Helena. However, litle by little her idyllic life begins to crumble beneath her.

Adela doesn’t find it particularly difficult to adapt to city life, despite not receiving much financial help from Miguelito’s father. However, a terrorist attack whilst she takes a bus journey shatters her whole being. From then on, she has to find the strength to return to a normal life.

 

 

Adela, una joven separada y con un hijo de un año de edad, está cansada de la vida que lleva en su pequeño pueblo natal. Deja atrás las montañas para trasladarse a Madrid donde todo es ruido, tráfico y un continuo vaivén de un lado a otro. Para salir adelante se busca un trabajo de azafata y se muda a un apartamento junto a Carlos e Inés, dos jóvenes muy agradables.

Antonia, la madre de Inés, tiene un pequeño supermercado de barrio. Lleva una vida bastante tranquila junto a su novio, Manolo, y sus tres hijas: Inés, Nieves y Helena. Sin embargo, poco a poco, su plancentera vida empieza a tambalearse.

Adela no ha tenido grandes dificultades para adaptarse a la vida urbana, a pesar de que el padre de Miguelito no le ayuda demasiado económicamente. Un atentado terrorista, mientras viaja en autobús, dejará su vida hecha añicos. A partir de ese momento deberá encontrar la fuerza para regresar a una vida normal.

Una mujer invisible

When she goes out with friends they talk over her. People don´t listen to what she says and nobody notices her, especially men. Luisa is beginning to get depressed. She admits that she has spent her whole life struggling because men value her personality and not her feminity. Even this is beginning to disappear.

This feeling is particularly prominent with Jorge, a work colleague whose indifference is upsetting her. However, she knows how to deal with these situations. Luisa has a plan.

Luisa empieza a sentirlo. Cuando sale con gente, nota que las personas hablan a través de ella, no escuchan lo que dice, no la miran, especialmente los hombres. Y confiesa que, tras toda una vida peleando porque la valoren como persona y no sólo como mujer, le fastidia que esta última casi haya desaparecido.

Esa sensación la tiene especialmente con Jorge, un compañero de trabajo. Su indiferencia le desconcierta. Pero ella siempre ha sabido enfrentarse a las nuevas situaciones: Luisa tiene un plan.

El niño de Barro

Buenos Aires 1912. A series of brutal child assassinations has spread through the city. Mateo (Juan Ciancio) a 10 year old child hides a secret: Sometimes his mind leads him to a dark place in his memory where he is witness to the assassinations.

Discovering his secret, people think that he is the killer. Estela, his mother, with the help of a forensic policeman, Dr. Soria (Chete Lera), try to find a rational explanation for his visions in order to undermine the skepticism of the superintendant Petrie. (Daniel Freire).

But the assassinations still go on…The chaos takes over.

Buenos Aires 1912. Una serie de brutales asesinatos a menores se propaga por la ciudad. Mateo (Juan Ciancio), un niño de 10 años, esconde un secreto: a veces su mente le conduce a un oscuro lugar de la memoria en donde es testigo de los asesinatos.

Al descubrirse su secreto muchos creerán que es el asesino. Estela, su madre (Maribel Verdú), con el apoyo del forense de la policía, el Dro. Soria (Chete Lera), tratan de encontrar una explicación racional a las visiones y así minar el escepticismo del Comisario petrie (Daniel Freire).

Pero los asesinatos siguen ocurriendo… Y el caos termina por adueñarse de la situación.

Hotel Tivoli

Siguiendo el aleatorio itinerario de un mechero que va siendo extraviado por sus ocasionales dueños en diferentes lugares del mundo, se construye una historia de historias con el denominador común de las relaciones de pareja, el ‘amour fou’ y la aparición de sorprendentes personajes portadores de relatos insólitos y dotados de una sinceridad no siempre oportuna.

Following the strange journey of a lighter that continues to be lost by its various owners around the world, the tale of all tales unfolds. The recurring themes of the tale seem to be ‘amour fou’ and the surprising appearance of characters recounting unusual stories whose sincerity is less than trustworthy.

El corazón de la Tierra

In 1888 a powerful English company blew up the mines of Riotinto, Huelva. Blanca Bosco (Catalina Sandino Moreno) and her Englsih friend Kathleen (Sienna Guillory) witness the awfull living conditions of the workers and the terrible pollution that is destroying the town.

The arrival to the town of Maximiliano symbolises change and hope for eveyone. Thousands of people join him on a peacefull demonstration - the first demonstration of environmental conscience in history. Fifty soldiers from the Spanish armed Forces assumed their positions ready to open fire in Riotinto Square…The consequent tragedy is history.

En 1888 una poderosa compañía inglesa explota las minas de Riotinto, en Huelva. Blanca Bosco (Catalina Sandino Moreno) y su amiga inglesa Kathleen (Sienna Guillory), son testigos de las miserables condiciones de vida de los trabajadores y de la terrible contaminación atmosférica que asola toda la comarca.

La llegada al pueblo de Maximiliano supone un revulsivo y una esperanza para todos. Miles de personas le siguen en una manifestación pacífica: la primera toma de conciencia ecológica de la Historia. Medio centenar de soldados del ejército español toman posiciones armados, dispuestos a abrir fuego en la Plaza de Riotinto.. la tragedia es una realidad.

Madrigal

Madrigal es una historia de amor contada en dos partes.

La Habana, 2005. Javier es un joven actor muy fantasioso: por eso le gusta escribir. Cuando inicia su historia de amor con Luisita -una joven encerrada en su mundo de complejos y secretos- no sabemos donde comienza la verdad o la mentira, la apariencia o la realidad.

Miente Javier? Fantasea Javier? Es honesto Javier? Al final, el joven escritor-actor es víctima de su propio juego al no distinguir lo aparente de lo real y Luisita termina desapareciendo trágicamente.

El mundo, 2020. Javier ha convertirdo sus vivencias en literatura. El cuento que ahora nos cuenta Javier repite su trágica historia de amor con Luisita de una manera creativa, fantasiosa y simbólica. Pero nuevamente las fronteras se pierden.

Y no sabremos si la primera historia fue real o simplemente fue otra fantasía surgida en el particular mundo de Javier.

Madrigal is a love story with two parts.

Havana 2005. Javier is a a great young actor who also loves to write. When he begins his love story with Luisita, a girl whose head is full of dreams and secrets, we don´t know the difference between truth and fantasy.

Is Javier telling the truth? Is Javier fantasizing? Does Javier know the truth? Finally the young actor-writer falls victim to his own game. On not being able to distinguish between reality and fantasy Luisita ends up disappearing tragically.

The World 2020. Javier has turned his experiences into literature. He now tells us creatively, of a his tragic love story with Luisita. A fantastic story, full of symbolism, but again the boundries of reality begin to disapear.

We are now not sure if the first story was true or simply a product of Javier´s wild imagination.

Atlas de Geografía Humana

Four women, Fran, Rosa, Ana and Marisa work together compiling an Atlas. Each day is exactally the same as the last, but now is the time when everything is about to change.

While they are compiling the Atlas they will have to confront love, infidelity, breakups, and reconciliations. Their lives will be changed forever. It seems impossible but they may just eventually find true love. Sometimes these things happen….

Fran, Rosa, Ana y Marisa trabajan haciendo un Atlas de Geografía. En sus vidas los días eran bastante parecidos, pero ahora, precisamente ahora, están en el momento exacto en el que van a cambiar.

Mientras preparan el Atlas, se irán enfrentando a amores, desamores, infidelidades y reconciliaciones que les harán redefinir sus vidas, y puede que hasta encontrar el amor. Parece imposible, es increíble, pero a veces pasa.
