A prosperous and well-respected farmer from Kansas, his wife and their two children, are brutally murdered in cold blood. The murderers, two ex-convicts with learning difficulties, seem to have shown no sorrow over the crime. After a year of running away from the law, they are finally captured and brought to justice.
