Tres días de libertad

After fourteen years of seclusion, “El Gato” famous for his adventures as a juvenile delinquent, he isn going to enjoy an allowance that will permit him to spend three days out of prison. His family and his ancient pals have prepared for him a new armed robbery, although it proves to be distrustful, he does not refuse to take part in it.

Also he will have time to live an affectionate adventure with the beautiful and provocative Aurora. However a police officer, the sharpest enemy of “El Gato”, will make his life as complicated as possible.

Tras catorce años de reclusión “El Gato” famoso por sus andanzas como delincuente juvenil, va a disfrutar de un permiso que le permitirá pasar tres días fuera de la prisión. Su familia y sus antiguos compinches le han preparado un atraco y, a pesar de que se muestra desconfiado, no se niega a participar en él.

También tendrá tiempo para vivir una aventura amorosa con la bella y provocativa Aurora. Pero un policía, enemigo acérrimo de “El Gato”, hará todo lo posible por complicarle la vida.

Perras callejeras

Crista, Berta y Sole, are three youngsters who feel abused for different reasons. Crista is a gipsy by birth, she has to put up with her inveterate drunkard and useless step father, who forces her to steal. Berta has hardly left prison when she is approached by a procurer who wants to offer her “employment”. Sole has got involved with heavy drugs and needs more and more money to keep up. Reunited by Crista and armed with pocketknives they start to mug people in dark alleys but the loot is not much. Berta would hatch then a plan to get hold of the takings of the discotheque run by Epi, the one who denounced her and who was ultimately responsible of her conviction.

Crista, Berta y Sole, son tres jóvenes que por distintos motivos se sienten explotadas y discriminadas por la sociedad. Crista, de origen gitano, tiene que soportar un padrastro borracho e inútil, que la obliga a robar. Berta sale de la cárcel y en seguida es abordada por un proxeneta que la quiere “colocar”. Sole, ha caído en la droga, y necesita más y más dinero.
Unidas por Crista, y armadas con navajas, empiezan a asaltar en calles oscuras a los viandantes, pero el botín es escaso. Berta explica a sus amigas un plan para hacerse con la recaudación de una discoteca regida por Epi, culpable de su condena.

Los últimos golpes del Torete

When “El Torete” and “El Vaquilla” try to rob the same bank, an employee raises the alarm and the inspector Perales, from whom the two criminals have escaped more than once, goes in their pursuit. Two local radio channels have sparked a fight between two rival broadcasters.

On one hand, there is Begoña Lausén, who mantains a comprehensive theory about delinquent youths, blaming a flawed society. On the other hand, Quique Moreno furiously condemns them, saying they should, at least, be executed. In the meantime, “El Torete” and “El Vaquilla” become allies.

Thus “El Torete” meets Berta, the girl who accompanies his friend. Berta tries to convince them that they should take a better path, that they should work. They finally listen to her and become apprentices in a car mechanic´s workshop. Their attempt to take a car ends up in them destroying one belonging to a client.

Fearing the reaction of the owner of the workshop, both of them disappear. Following the radiophonic fight between the two broadcasters, the criminals decide to turn up to an exam for car testers, but “El Vaquilla” is arrested at gunpoint. “El Torete” and Berta, who are falling in love, hatch a plan to free their friend, they succeed, once again making a mockery of Perales.  

Taking refuge in a small village in the Pyrenees, Bergoña finally achieves his dream, he finds them and submits them to a series of interviews in order to prove his theories. However, despite the precautions taken, it is the start of a hazardous ending.

Mientras “El Torete” y “El Vaquilla” entran en el mismo banco para atracarlo, un empleado da la alarma y el inspector Perales, a quien los dos atracadores se le han escapado más de una vez, salta en su busca. Dos emisoras de radio locales han entablado un duro pugilato entre dos locutores rivales.

Por un lado, Begoña Lasuén, que sostiene una teoría comprensiva hacia esos jóvenes delincuentes, acusando a la sociedad de sus faltas. De otro, Quique Moreno, que les ataca furibundamente, pidiendo que, por lo menos se les fusile. Entretanto el Torete y el Vaquilla deciden asociarse.

Así El Torete conoce a Berta, la chica que viene con su amigo. Berta intenta convencerles de que vayan por el buen camino, que trabajen. Las emisiones de Berta les ofrecen esa salida y los dos muchachos acceden a entrar de aprendices en un taller mecánico para coches. La tentación de hacerse con un coche les lleva a destrozar uno de un cliente.

Temerosos de la reacción del dueño del taller, ambos desaparecen. Siguiendo la pugna radiofónica entre los dos locutores y para ayudar a Begoña, deciden presentarse a una prueba para pilotos probadores de coches, pero El Vaquilla es detenido a tiros. El Torete y Berta, que empiezan a enamorarse, fraguan un plan para liberar a su amigo, lo consiguen dejando una vez mas burlado Perales.

Refugiados en un pueblecito de los Pirineos, Begoña consigue al fin su sueño: localizarles y someterles a una serie de entrevistas para forzar sus teorías. Sin embargo y pese a las preocupaciones tomadas, aquello será el principio de un azaroso final.

Perros callejeros 2

The mugging and cruel murder of an employee at the petrol station sparks off the inflammatory plot of Perros Callejeros II. Based, like the first one, on reality, and interpreted by genuine characters, Perros Callejeros II crudely addresses the problem of boys between the ages of 16 and 18, still minors before the law, but already at an age where they can be sentenced to jail, if they are arrested.

Angel “El Torete” , due to a series of unfavourable circumstances, is accused of participating in the murder by Fernando, a policeman who is keeping a close eye on him, because one day ´El Torete´ ran over him, leaving him lame.

Helped by his friends while he is in prison, he suffers the consequences of the Modelo´s mutiny, which leaves him badly wounded. Charo, a gipsy with whom he lives and practises a bizarre promiscuous relationship, Gumer, her sister, and Piejo, her friend, manage to prove Angel´s innocence.

However, it is not sufficient that the judge grants him provisional freedom, nor that the jail guard opens the prison doors for him. Right there, little by little, a dramatic, unexpected ending unfolds, leaving once more, hanging in the air, the sad fate of the boys lost from society.

El atraco y la muerte cruel del empleado de una gasolinera, es el chispazo que enciende la mecha argumental de Perros Callejeros II. Basada, como la primera en hechos reales, interpretada por sus auténticos protagonistas, Perros Callejeros II afronta con toda crudeza el problema de esos muchachos entre los 16 y 18 menores todavía ante la Ley, pero en edad ya de ingresar en la cárcel, si se les detiene.

Angel “El Torete” por una serie de circunstancias adversas, es acusado de participar en ese asesinato, por Fernando, un policía que lo tiene entre ceja y ceja, porque un día le atropelló dejándole cojo.

Ayudado por sus amigos mientras está en la carcel sufre las consecuencias del terrible motín de la Modelo, quedando malherido. Los buenos oficios de Charo, una gitanilla con la que convive en extraña promiscuidad, con Gumer, su hermana y el Piejo, su amigo consiguen poner en claro la inocencia de Angel.

Sin embargo, no basta con que el Juez firme la libertad provisional; tampoco que el funcionario le abra el portalón de la cárcel. Allí mismo, a pocos pasos puede producirse un desenlace inesperado, dramático que deja en el aire, una vez más, el triste destino de estos muchachos perdidos para la Sociedad.

Perros callejeros

A gang of boys in the suburbs of Barcelona, not yet 16 years old, specialise in car theft. They use the cars that they steal for the robbery of the “Tirón”, robbing shops and selling off the merchandise cheaply and assaulting couples in remote places, robbing them and abusing the woman.

The police sometimes catch them in their misconduct and ferocious persuits spark up. They crash onto the carriage ways in the wrong direction, ignoring the rules, and some end up injured. They raid armouries and use their gains to give them the strength to rob a bank.

The leader takes the name of “Torrente” and the other gang members, “El Pijo”, “El Chungo”, y “El Fitipaldi”, are regular offenders in the Juvenile Court, whose old fashioned law can’t stop the criminal antics of these boys.

The situation moves from bad to worse when “El Torrente” arouses the fury of “El Esquinao”, a powerful gypsy who controls the area. Escaping with his niece and leaving her pregnant, “El Esquinao” lays a trap, giving the young leader a cruel and exemplary punishment. However, “El Torrente” doesn´t give in and after, testing his strength of will, he carries out the most terrible revenge that makes his followers realize that there is a problem and arose the need to solve it.

This problem does not only limit itself to the confines of the city in Cataluña, but exists in every modern, industrialised city.

Una pandilla de muchachos, que no llegan a los dieciséis años, del suburbio de Barcelona se han especializado en el robo de coches. Con ellos se dedican al robo del “Tirón”, asaltar tiendas para malvender las mercancias y atacan a parejas que en lugares apartados para desvalijarles, abusando de la mujer.

Sorprendidos a veces en sus fechorias, entablan feroces persecuciones con la policía; sin importarles irrumpen en la calzada, en contra dirección, o saltandose controles, de los que salen a veces malheridos. Atancan una armeria, con lo que se sienten lo bastante fuertes para robar un Banco. El cabecilla de ellos es el llamado “Torete” y elementos de su banda son “El Pijo”, “El Chungo”, y “El Fitipaldi” todos ellos, asiduos del Tribunal Tutelar de Menores, cuya ley, anticuada, no puede frenar la carrera delictiva de esos muchachos.

Del mal en peor, “El torete” suscita las iras de “El Esquinao” un gitano poderoso que controla el barrio. Al escapar con su sobrina, y dejarla embarazada, “El Esquinao” le tiende una trampa propinandole un castigo cruel y ejemplar.

Sin embargo, “El Torete” no se da por vencido y tras reponerse, poniendo a prueba una poderosa fuerza de voluntad lleva a cabo una de las venganzas más terribles, que acabará por concienciar a todos de que el problema está ahí y, es preciso solucionarlo.

Un problema que no se circunscribe a la ciudad catalana, sino que se hace extensivo a cualquier ciudad moderna, excesivamente desarrollada.
