Juan is one of many unemployed people. He relays on the selling he does for collectives in need. He occassionally writes poetry too which the knife-grinder enjoys a lot but that does not help him with the amount of debts he has contracted day after day trying to look after his wife and his two sons.

The outcome is unavoidable: his wife abandones him and he runs out of credit. Alone and desperate he resorts to an old dream of his: becoming a radio broadcaster.
