Perfume de violetas

Perfume of violets tells the true story of Yessica and Miriam two teenagers of Mexico who share a deap friendship in high school.

They share books, games, the same tastes, their make up and perfume, until Jorge and Topi, violent kidnappers get and abuse Yessica sexually. The indifference and the egoism of adults break the friendship of the two teenagers all which results in tragedy.

Perfume de violetas cuenta una historia verdadera de Yessica y Myriam, dos adolescentes de México que empiezan una amistad profunda en el colegio secundaria.

Las amigas comparten cuadernos, juegos, gustos, maquillajes y perfume, hasta que Jorge y Topi, violentos secuestradores , secuestran a Yessica y abusan sexualmente de ella.

La indiferencia y el egoísmo de los adultos rompen la amistad de las jovencitas, resultando en una tragedia.

El Cometa

This film of the “new national cinema” is set during the turbulences of the Mexican Revolution and relates the history of an couple of youngsters experiencing passion and adventure during the unstoppable 20th century.

 Determined to save their romance and assist Madero in his fight against the dictatorship, both join a travelling circus in which they will come to know the most admired landscapes of the country with the hope to arrive to the frontier and provide the revolutionaries with the necessary money to continue the fight.
