“Semen, una historia de amor” is a romantic comedy in which chance juggles with the fate of its protagonists: Serafin, a square biologist who never oversteps the bounds of reason; Ariadna, a trapeze artist convinced that only magic and passion can move the world; and Serafin?s outlandish father, his particular flatmate. The whole thing starts when Serafin meets Ariadna, a patient attending the artificial semination clinic at which he works. Following several failed attempts by Ariadna to become pregnant, and having fallen seriously for the girl, Serafin decides to use his own semen without telling anyone, thus becoming the father of the future creature.

Todo comienza cuando Serafín conoce y se enamora de Ariadna, una paciente de la clínica donde trabaja, que se esta sometiendo a un tratamiento de inseminación artificial. Tras varios intentos fallidos por lograr que Ariadna quede embarazada, Serafín locamente enamorado decide utilizar su propio semen sin contar a nadie una palabra, convirtiéndose así en el padre de la futura criatura.
