El gran Vázquez

1960s’ Barcelona. It is spring and Vázquez is living life to the full. His characters – the Gilda Sisters, Anacleto, the Scallion Family – are top of the comic ratings at his publisher’s, Editorial Bruguera. Meanwhile, Spain’s best comic strip artist is enjoying himself as the mood takes him, paying for nothing, craftily dodging his creditors, making fun of and conning his bosses, merrily marrying and acquiring one new family after another… Until one day a grey accountant at Bruguera decides to make Vázquez toe the line like everyone else. Not an easy task because for the brilliant artist life is one long party and well worth gatecrashing.

Platillos Volantes

1972. In an industrial city in Catalonia two textile workers with the most normal of lives and jobs are found on the railway lines, beheaded. Next to them, there’s a note which reads: THE ALIENS ARE CALLING US. WE BELONG TO INFINITY.

From this moment onwards, the strange happenings of these two characters and the bizarre friends they make along the way are reconstructed. This is a story in which the wonder of reality conquers over fiction once and for all.

1972. En una ciudad industrial catalana dos obreros textiles con vidas y ocupaciones de lo más normales, son hallados en la vía del tren, decapitados y junto a una nota de despedida que dice: LOS EXTRATERRESTRES NOS LLAMAN. PERTENECEMOS AL INFINITO.

A partir de aquí, se reconstruirán las peripecias de estos dos personajes y los extraños compañeros de aventuras que encuentran en su viaje. Una historia en la que queda demostrado una vez más que la realidad supera con creces a la ficción.

Pacto de Brujas

Doctor Degrás works as a psychiatrist for the police force. He is sceptical about the occult sciences unlike his wife, Luisa, who is passionate about the magical arts. One night during a session with the Ouija board, Degras receives a mysterious message from a dead man, Ricardo, “Soon they are going to meet”.

That very night he is awoken by the telephone ringing, an old friend, Capitan Salanueva of the Civil Guard wants him to go immediately to the village of Senillas, which is in the middle of the mountains. Five people have been murdered there, all the inhabitants of the village, and it seems as if the suspected murderer has committed suicide.

There is only one witness, the girlfriend of the murderer but she has been left speechless by the horror of the brutal events and that’s why a psychiatrist is needed. The suspected murderer is one Ricardo. Ricardo Maristany.

El doctor Degrás, psiquiatra que trabaja en la policía, es un escéptico de las ciencias ocultas, no así su mujer, Luisa, apasionada por las artes mágicas. Una noche, durante una sesión de ouija, Degrás recibe, procedente de un muerto llamado Ricardo, un misterioso mensaje: “Pronto van a conocerse”.

Esa misma noche el teléfono le despierta: un viejo amigo, el Capitán de la Guardia Civil Salanueva quiere que vaya a toda prisa al pueblo de Senillas, situado en medio de la sierra. Allí han asesinado a cinco personas, todos los habitantes del pueblo, y luego parece ser que el presunto asesino se ha suicidado.

Solo hay un testigo, la novia del homicida, que debido a la impresión sufrida al ver los brutales sucesos, a perdido el habla, por esa razón necesitan un psiquiatra. El presunto asesino es un tal Ricardo, Ricardo Maristany.
