Stunning Señorita Penelope Cruz is Silvia, a headstrong village girl who is made pregnant by local mummy’s boy Jose Luis (Jordi Molla) the man she plans to marry.
Unfortunately financial necessity has turned Silvia’s mother Carmen (Anna Galiena – The hairdresser’s husband) into the local scarlet woman and Jose’s overbearing underwear magnet mother Conchita (Stefania Sandrelli) is none too pleased about her son’s wedding plans.
Cue Raul (Spanish heartthrob Javier Bardem) the village hunk who works in a ham factory, enjoys bullfighting in the nude and nicely fills out his Y-fronts, who Conchita hires to win the heart (and body) of Silvia, … if Conchita doesn’t eat him up first that is.
But things don’t turn our exactly as planned and what ensues is; a somewhat chaotic and frantic series of couplings, testosterone overload, breasts that taste of ham, a piglet named Pablito and a duel to the death with a side of a ham.
