El niño de Barro

Buenos Aires 1912. A series of brutal child assassinations has spread through the city. Mateo (Juan Ciancio) a 10 year old child hides a secret: Sometimes his mind leads him to a dark place in his memory where he is witness to the assassinations.

Al descubrirse su secreto muchos creerán que es el asesino. Estela, su madre (Maribel Verdú), con el apoyo del forense de la policía, el Dro. Soria (Chete Lera), tratan de encontrar una explicación racional a las visiones y así minar el escepticismo del Comisario petrie (Daniel Freire).

Pero los asesinatos siguen ocurriendo… Y el caos termina por adueñarse de la situación.

Mariposa Negra

Gabriela is about to marry Guido, a well known judge who is assassinated in suspicious circumstances. The case is sensationalised by the press. In order to find out what happenned and also to clear the name of her boyfriend, Gabriela starts her own investigation.

She will meet Angela, a young and ambitious journalist and Osman, the director of an influential newspaper and loyal to the Fujimori regime. He is responsible for covering up a state sanctioned crime- passing off the death of the judge as a homosexual crime of passion.

In order to reveal the truth she has to enter the murky underworld that surrounds Vladimaro Montesinos. Her mission – to kill him.

Gabriela está a punto de casarse con Guido, un conocido juez de instrucción, que es asesinado en extrañas circunstancias. El caso es tratado de forma sensacionalista por la prensa. Para averiguar lo ocurrido y así limpiar la imagen de su novio, Gabriela inicia una investigación.

Se cruzará con Ángela una joven y ambiciosa periodista y con Osman el director de un influyente periódico, fiel al régimen de Fujimori y responsable del encubrimiento de un crimen de estado haciendo pasar la muerte del juez por un crimen pasional en un entorno gay.

Gabriela para demostrar la verdad se adentra en los bajos fondos del círculo que rodea a Vladimiro Montesinos. Su objetivo es matarle.

La Caja Kovak

David Norton, an American sci-fi writer, is invited to an idyllic Mediterranean island to give a lecture. He travels there with his girlfriend and that night he proposes.

However, in the early hours of the morning his wife-to-be throws herself from their hotel balcony. What eveyone presumes is suicide, to him just doesn´t add up.

For Silvia, life has lost its meaning. She is a young tourist on the island and has just failed a suicide attempt. The only thing she knows for sure is that she never wanted to kill herself. Something strange happenned…something forced her to jump from the balcony.

A las pocas horas, su prometida se tira por la ventana del hotel. Parece un suicidio, pero para él no tiene sentido. Trastorno

Natalia (Najwa Nimri) has everything; a good husband (Pep Munné), a nice house, and most importantly she is expecting a baby. After not having seen her sister Elena, (Ingrid Rubio) in a long time she decides to contact her. For her things are not going quite as well.

Her greatest wish is to become a mother, just like her sister. However, everything is not as it should be. Elena starts to play jealous games and deceive her sister. A fight to the death begins motivated by obsession and past memories.

Su mayor deseo es ser madre, como su hermana. Pero no todo es tan perfecto como parece, una serie de extraños juegos de celos y engaños por parte de Elena empieza desatando un enfrentamiento a muerte dominado por la obsesión y los recuerdos del pasado.

La Distancia

There are many different types of madness, however, what happens when one lunatic meets another? “El Iván” is a petty thief with a tendency for pathalogical violence. La Monja (The Nun)

El Aura

El habitante incierto

Félix is an architect who feels that his emotional stability has shattered when his girlfriend Vera refuses to go on living with him. One night he has a visit from a stranger who asks if he can use his telephone.

Félix lets him in and in a moment of distraction the man seems to disappear without a trace in his house. From this time on a series of distressing moments lead him to conclude that the intruder has stayed to live in his house and that he is threatening his very life. Félix starts a perverse relationship with the space around him.

Félix es un arquitecto que siente cómo su estabilidad emocional se resquebraja cuando su novia Vera se niega a seguir viviendo con él. Una noche recibe la visita de un desconocido que le pide utilizar su teléfono.

Ausentes

Julia y Samuel move with their children to a remote estate in the oustskirts of the city. It seems like an idyllic place, but soon they discover that it´s not quite as they thought.

From the very first day Julia has the feeling that something strange is happening around her. Her fears increase when she discovers that the estate is completely deserted.

Terrified by the strangeness of the situation and made wary by the lack of understanding from Samuel and the children Julia starts to feel that she is the centre of a distressing plot.

1958, Martin has spent eight years in a Spanish prison after being caught by the police in the middle of a bank robbery. Falsa culpable

Carmen was accused of a girl´s murder and is now, after two years in jail, released thanks to her lawyer´s appeal.

Ever since her incarceration, until the trial and her subsequent sentence, the media have broadcasted Carmen´s private life, especially her sexual preferences. These have been deciding factors for the public condemnation. Carmen however, has always pleaded innocent.

Now that she is home she remains without work and abandoned by her family and friends. She has become an object of media focus and an involuntary feature on chat shows. Carmen is harassed by the girl´s real murderer. Nobody believes her.

Muertos Comunes

Pamplona 1973. Eusebio Luquin, a police inspector whose motto in life is never let work keep you awake at night. He has to solve, with the help of his new colleague Goyoaga, the rape and murder of a young woman near the army barracks.

The army offers them its support in the investigations, but the case gets more complicated in a plot where some people keep quiet and others don’t ask questions.

Pamplona, año 1973. Eusebio Luquin, un inspector de policía cuya máxima en la vida es que el trabajo nunca le quite el sueño, ha de resolver con la ayuda de Goyoaga, su nuevo compañero, la violación y asesinato de una joven en los aledaños de un cuartel del ejército.

 Los militares les ofrecen su apoyo en la investigación, pero el caso se irá complicando en una trama en la que unos callan y los otros no preguntan.

Cámara oscura

A group of young people meet on the Ivory Coast, enrolled on the same deep-sea diving expedition. When they arrive at the place in which they are going to dive, they find the body of a man with visible signs of torture floating in the water.

The situation gets more complicated when an accident leaves them stranded in the middle of the ocean. Their salvation seems to begin when an old merchant ship appears.

Un grupo de jóvenes coincide en Costa de Marfil, inscritos en la misma expedición de submarinismo. Al llegar al lugar donde tienen que hacer sus prácticas de submarinismo, encuentran flotando el cadáver de un hombre con signos visibles de tortura.

La situación se complica cuando debido a un accidente quedan aislados en mitad del océano. Su salvación se vislumbra cuando ven aparecer un viejo mercante.

Hotel Danubio

Hugo, a failed writer in 1950’s Madrid; (he is always being told that his stories aren’t interesting because they lack credibility). He is in a relationship with Ivón, a beautiful choir girl of a Variety Theatre who only wants to leave work, get married and live with no financial worries.

Hugo has a son, Carlos, who’s almost the same age as Ivón, and not only wants to get a sizable inheritance from his father, but also makes the attractive choir girl fall in love with him.

However, a mystery is hanging over Hugo’s young, rich, attractive son, a mystery which we will only find out about at the end, when Carlos forces his father to choose a tragic, desperate solution for which, paradoxically, he cannot be blamed. 

Hugo, un escritor fracasado en el Madrid de los 50 (le dicen, una y otra vez, que sus historias no interesan por falta de credibilidad), mantiene relaciones con Ivón, joven y bella chica de coro de una Compañía de Revistas, obsesionada con dejar de trabajar, casarse y vivir sin agobios económicos.

Hugo tiene un hijo, Carlos, casi de la edad de Ivón, quien, además de arrebatar a su padre una cuantiosa herencia, termina por enamorar a la hermosa vicetiple.

Sin embargo, un misterio se cierne sobre el joven, rico y atractivo hijo de Hugo, misterio que únicamente conoceremos al final, cuando Carlos obligue a su padre a tomar una trágica y desesperada solución, de la que, paradójicamente, nadie podrá culparlo.

Carta mortal

Fabian and Miguel are two soldiers of the Spanish army which is stationed in Macedonia. They entertain themselves playing cards. Whoever gets the ace of spades has to shoot at the far away hens which are pecking in the fields. When it’s Miguel’s turn, instead of aiming at a hen he aims at a young prostitute, shoots and kills her.

Five years later, and now in Spain, Miguel comes out of prison and goes to find his old friend Fabian. Fabian has turned his life around and is soon to be a father. He works as a security boss of a transportation company.

The re-encounter is violent. Miguel hasn’t been able to forgive him for turning him in, making him leave the army and having to serve five years in prison. He threatens to kill Fabian right there, but decides to put it off. Fabian tells him to do it, looking him straight in the eyes. Miguel can’t do it and tells him that the game has just begun.

A dead girl appears a few day later, and next to her body an ace of spades. The murders keep happening and with them the same card appears next to the body.

Fabián y Miguel, dos soldados del ejército español destacado en Macedonia se entretienen jugando a cartas. Quien saca el as de espadas tiene que disparar sobre unas lejanas gallinas que picotean por el campo. Cuando le toca el turno a Miguel, en vez de apuntar a una gallina, lo hace sobre una joven prostituta, dispara y la mata.

Al cabo de cinco años, ya en España, Miguel sale de la cárcel y va en busca de su antiguo amigo Fabián. Fabián ha rehecho su vida, está a punto de ser padre y trabaja de jefe de seguridad de una empresa de transporte.

El encuentro es muy violento. Miguel no le ha podido perdonar que le delatara, que tuviera que dejar el ejército, que haya tenido que cumplir cinco años de cárcel. Amenaza con matar a Fabian allí mismo pero decide posponer la ejecución. Fabián le reta a que lo haga mirándole a los ojos. Miguel no puede y se va aclarándole que el juego acaba de empezar.

Al cabo de poco tiempo aparece una chica asesinada. Junto a su cuerpo aparece un as de espadas. Se van sucediendo más muertes y siempre con la misteriosa carta junto al cadáver.

Sé quien eres

Paloma (Ana Fernández) is a young psychiatrist who begins to work in a remote hospital in Galícia, where a very special patient is admitted: Mario (Miguel Ángel solá), who suffers from a strange loss of memory.

For Paloma it is a chance for exciting study. Each time she meets him it feels totally new because Mario can never remember who she is.

Gradually, Palome starts to feel personally attracted towards Mario whose lost memory hides a past that threatens to reveal dark secrets of the recent history of Spain. Together they are pushed into a dangerous and worrying adventure.

Para Paloma es un caso de estudio apasionante. Cada encuentro con él es como si fuera totalmente nuevo, porque Mario nunca se puede acordar de quien es ella.
