A group of eight people live isolated in crumbling installations. They cannot abandon the complex and they live in a constant state of vigilance. The food supplies are running out and they urgently need medicines and ammunitions, but in order to find them they must abandon the secure area. What lurks outside the small area they inhabit, however, is so menacing that they dare not even speak of it.

Madrigal

Madrigal is a love story with two parts.

Havana 2005. Javier is a a great young actor who also loves to write. When he begins his love story with Luisita, a girl whose head is full of dreams and secrets, we don´t know the difference between truth and fantasy.

Is Javier telling the truth? Is Javier fantasizing? Does Javier know the truth? Finally the young actor-writer falls victim to his own game. On not being able to distinguish between reality and fantasy Luisita ends up disappearing tragically.

The World 2020. Javier has turned his experiences into literature. He now tells us creatively, of his tragic love story with Luisita. A fantastic story, full of symbolism, but again the boundries of reality begin to disapear.

We are now not sure if the first story was true or simply a product of Javier´s wild imagination.

Madrigal es una historia de amor contada en dos partes.

La Habana, 2005. Javier es un joven actor muy fantasioso: por eso le gusta escribir. Cuando inicia su historia de amor con Luisita -una joven encerrada en su mundo de complejos y secretos- no sabemos donde comienza la verdad o la mentira, la apariencia o la realidad.

Miente Javier? Fantasea Javier? Es honesto Javier? Al final, el joven escritor-actor es víctima de su propio juego al no distinguir lo aparente de lo real y Luisita termina desapareciendo trágicamente.

El mundo, 2020. Javier ha convertirdo sus vivencias en literatura. El cuento que ahora nos cuenta Javier repite su trágica historia de amor con Luisita de una manera creativa, fantasiosa y simbólica. Pero nuevamente las fronteras se pierden.

Y no sabremos si la primera historia fue real o simplemente fue otra fantasía surgida en el particular mundo de Javier.

Mariposa Negra

Gabriela is about to marry Guido, a well known judge who is assassinated in suspicious circumstances. The case is sensationalised by the press. In order to find out what happenned and also to clear the name of her boyfriend, Gabriela starts her own investigation.

She will meet Angela, a young and ambitious journalist and Osman, the director of an influential newspaper and loyal to the Fujimori regime. He is responsible for covering up a state sanctioned crime- passing off the death of the judge as a homosexual crime of passion.

In order to reveal the truth she has to enter the murky underworld that surrounds Vladimaro Montesinos. Her mission – to kill him.

Gabriela está a punto de casarse con Guido, un conocido juez de instrucción, que es asesinado en extrañas circunstancias. El caso es tratado de forma sensacionalista por la prensa. Para averiguar lo ocurrido y así limpiar la imagen de su novio, Gabriela inicia una investigación.

Se cruzará con Ángela una joven y ambiciosa periodista y con Osman el director de un influyente periódico, fiel al régimen de Fujimori y responsable del encubrimiento de un crimen de estado haciendo pasar la muerte del juez por un crimen pasional en un entorno gay.

Gabriela para demostrar la verdad se adentra en los bajos fondos del círculo que rodea a Vladimiro Montesinos. Su objetivo es matarle.

Las vidas de Celia

At the end of a night, after a festival, Celia fails in her suicide attempt on the train track. Her life will never be the same again. This same night a teenager is raped and murdered nearby.

Miguel Angel, a policeman, starts to investigate the case. The investigations lead him to Celia, her husband Augustin and also to Celia’s two sisters, Carmen and Angela.

Celia cannot remember either her suicide attempt or the reasons that made her do it. She notices the vacuum in her memory and has the feeling that her mind has split into two. Miguel Angel is also suffering from personal difficulties which is putting him on the fringes of certain things, including the law. He take his own fustration out on the investigation and ends up seeing reflected in Celia his own emotional instability.

Al finalizar una noche de verbena, Celia fracasa en su intento de suicidio en las vías del tren. Su vida ya no volverá a ser la misma. Esa misma noche en el barrio, es violada y asesinada una adolescente.

Un policía, Miguel Ángel, llevará el caso y sus investigaciones le acercan cada vez más al entorno de Celia. Celia no recuerda su intento de suicidio ni los motivos que le llevaron a hacerlo. Siente que su persona se ha desdoblado en dos y lucha por recuperar la lucidez.

Miguel Ángel también está pasando por momentos personales difíciles que le sitúan al límite de algunas cosas, incluso la legalidad. Canaliza en la investigación su propia frustación y termina por ver reflejado en Celia su propia inestabilidad emocional.

Mujeres en el Parque

Daniel, a music teacher and pianist and Ana an art gallery director are having problems with their relationship after twenty years together. Daniel has gone to live by himself and wants a divorce. Ana can’t bring herself to accept the situation.

The bad situation is affecting their daughter Monica who has just finished studying journalism and is feeling particularly vulnerable as she is unable to find work, a task which she spends time together with her boyfriend David.

Music seems to be the only thing that composes and calms Daniel, a man who is ill at ease with himself and everyone else around. He is in a far-from-perfect relationship with a married woman, Clara who arouses Monica’s curiosity.

One night Monica finds herself involved in an awkward and incomprehensible situation along with Daniel, Ana and Clara.

Cándida

Cándida, a cleaner past retirement age, goes on with her job because it allows her to do what she enjoys most; being kind to others. She is like a Mary Poppins from the Madrid district of San Blas but she comes by underground rather than flying.

Her problems are never ending and her children are a disaster so she dreams of one day escaping to a house in the country with her three hens. When she finally gets what she wants she gives up the miracle to stay with her loved ones.

Cándida, una asistenta que ha pasado la edad de jubilación, aprovecha el trabajo para practicar lo que más le gusta: ser amable con los demás. Como una Mary Poppins del madrileño barrio de San Blas que, en vez  de volar, viene en metro.

Sus problemas son infinitos y sus hijos un desastre, así que sueña con escaparse algún día a una casita en el campo. A ser posible, con tres gallinas. Cuando por fin lo consigue, renuncia al milagro por permanecer cerca de los suyos.

El camino de los ingleses

Miguelito Dávila is a young man with a restless soul and only one kidney. He begins to harbour the hope of becoming a poet. Dreaming is easy but life is difficult. During their last summer of innocence, Miguelito and his friends take sex, friendship, violence and love to the limit whilst catching rays and summer storms.

They know that very soon they will have to walk along the path which will either turn them into heroes or cast them into the shadows. It will allow them to reach the end of the world. They begin to ask themselves what there will be on the other side of the “Camino de los Ingleses”.

Miguelito Dávila es un joven de alma inquieta y un solo riñón. Pronto empieza a albergar la esperanza de ser poeta. Pero soñar es fácil y vivir difícil. Durante ese verano del fin de la inocencia, Miguelito y sus amigos llevarán al límite sus experiencias con el sexo, la amistad, la violencia o el amor entre baños de sol y tormentas de verano.

Saben que muy pronto deberán avanzar por la senda que les convierta en héroes o en sombras, que les permita alcanzar el fin del mundo. Y se preguntan qué habrá al otro lado de El Camino de los Ingleses.

Isi-Disi. Alto Voltaje

After bidding a final farewell to the late Eugenio, Isi´s father, by firing a canon and knocking down a toomb of irreplacable value, Isi and Disi were ordered by the judge to either pay a fine or loose the ¨kampana del infierno¨.

In order to find it the members of Ratamuerta instigated a contest – ¨the most brutal gang¨. The contest was presented by the impressionable Angie (Kira Miró) and led by Berdún (Gran Wyoming).

 

Tras despedir al difunto Eugenio (padre de Isi) disparando un cañón y derrumbando un mausoleo de incalculable valor, Isi y Disi se enfrentan a la amenaza del juez de pagar la multa o perder “La Kampana del Infierno”.

Para conseguirlo, los componentes de Ratamuerta se apuntarán a un concurso de “la banda más brutal” presentado por la impresionante Angie (Kira Miró) y dirigido por Berdún (Gran Wyoming).

El Camino de San Diego

Tati has lost his job. He now helps Silva, an old sculptor, for whom he collects trunks, branches and roots from the woods that he can use for his work. In exchange he gets a percentage for the sales they make among the few tourists who visit the old village’s market.

Like the majority of the Argentines, Tati adores Diego Armando Maradona. The walls of his house are covered with fotos of his idol and he guards the ticket from the day he saw him in action like the most valuable treasure.

Despite his dramatic financial situation Tati doesn’t lose his cheerful nature. Besides he has another reason for being optimistic: He has found a huge root whose silhouette he finds similar to Maradona’s and which he plans to hand over personally to Diego.

The term “personally” impresses everyone deeply, since meeting him would fulfil his life’s dream. Will he be able to hand over the sculpture to his idol?

Tati ha perdido su trabajo. Ahora ayuda a Silva, un viejo escultor, para quien busca en el monte troncos, ramas y raíces que puedan servirle para hacer sus obras. A cambio, obtiene un porcentaje por las ventas que logre realizar entre los pocos turistas que llegan al mercado del pueblo vecino.

Al igual que la mayoría de los argentinos, Tati tiene adoración por Diego Armando Maradona. Las paredes de su casa están cubiertas de fotos de su ídolo y guarda como el tesoro más preciado, la entrada al estadio del día que lo vio en plena acción.

A pesar de su dramática situación económica, Tati no pierde su espíritu jovial. Tiene además otra razón para su optimismo: ha encontrado una gigantesca raíz con una silueta que él encuentra parecida a Maradona, la cual intentará entregar personalmente a Diego.

La palabra ‘personalmente’ impresiona profundamente a todos, dado que conocerlo sería cumplir el sueño de su vida. ¿Logrará entregar la escultura a su ídolo?

¿Por qué se frotan las patitas?

In only one day all the women in Luis’  life decide to abandon him. His wife decides to retreat to a Buddhist centre because she’s fed-up with not being appreciated. His daughter goes after her loved one to find out if it’s true he loves someone else. And his mother (who is the secret lover of his father-in-law) goes away with some squatters. The only things Luis can do is to try to find them and for this purpose he takes on Manolete whose original methods are matched by his shrewdness.

El Ciclo Dreyer

During the sixties in Madrid, Carlos, a law student, runs a film club that has dedicated a season to the legendary Carl Dreyer. Santi, a priest and a friend of the family who is on a mission, goes to Elena´s house, (Carlos’s girlfriend). Santi will revolutionise the vision of love, marriage and the life that the couple spend together.

These ideas also affect Julia, who is the film club´s projectionist and is in love with Carlos. The characters´stories are a microcosm where their moral, psychological and emmotional problems are representative of Spain – a country which is fighting to liberalize and open its mind to foreign ideas.

En el Madrid de los años 60, Carlos, estudiante de Derecho, dirige un cineclub que ha programado un ciclo dedicado al gran clásico Carl Dreyer. A casa de su novia Elena, llega Santi, un joven sacerdote amigo de la familia, camino de las misiones, que revolucionará la visión del amor, el matrimonio y la vida que comparte la pareja.

Estos cambios afectarán también a Julia, proyeccionista del cineclub y enamorada de Carlos. Todos ellos forman parte de un microcosmos en el que la historia de los personajes y sus conflictos sentimentales, morales o psicológicos, tienen como trastorno una España que pugna por abrirse a los nuevos aires e ideas procedentes del exterior.

Marina has been looking after her brother Samuel since their parents died in a car accident three years ago. Since then, Samuel has been suffering from agoraphobia which means he can’t leave the house. In order to cure him Marina takes on one psychologist after another but none of them is successful. What’s more Samuel and his grandfather Paul do everything they possible can to get rid of them. When Gabriel enters their lives everything begins to change because he uses a different method to try to cure Samuel. But what Gabriel didn’t count on was falling in love with Marina …….

Trastorno

Natalia (Najwa Nimri) has everything; a good husband (Pep Munné), a nice house, and most importantly she is expecting a baby. After not having seen her sister Elena, (Ingrid Rubio) in a long time she decides to contact her. For her things are not going quite as well.

Her greatest wish is to become a mother, just like her sister. However, everything is not as it should be. Elena starts to play jealous games and deceive her sister. A fight to the death begins motivated by obsession and past memories.

Natalia (Najwa Nimri) lo tiene todo: un buen marido (Pep Munné), un magnífico chalet y, lo más importante, un hijo en camino. Después de mucho tiempo sin verse, decide reencontrarse con su hermana Elena (Ingrid Rubio), a quien las cosas no le van igual de bien.

Su mayor deseo es ser madre, como su hermana. Pero no todo es tan perfecto como parece, una serie de extraños juegos de celos y engaños por parte de Elena empieza desatando un enfrentamiento a muerte dominado por la obsesión y los recuerdos del pasado.

Pérez: el ratoncito de tus sueños

Lucía, an active little girl, looses a tooth. Santiago, her father, is an out-of-work boss, and her mother, Pilar, is a successful but overworked architect, reassure Lucía, by telling her that the Hairy Tooth Fairy (a mouse named Perez) will come to her bedroom to collect her tooth, leaving some money in its place. A mouse who had been monitoring the situation tells another mouse, who in turn tells another mouse… until finally the news reaches Pérez, The Hairy Tooth Fairy, who lives in a boat in the port along with hundreds of other mice. They receive the teeth that he collects, and then clean, shape and polish them so that they can be transformed into shiny round pearls. These pearls are then carried through the city’s sewers until finally they reach the jewellers owned by Morientes, where an old friend exchanges them for their weight in gold. What would normally be a routine trip for the legendary rodent takes an unexpected turn for the worse when heartless, malicious scoundrels kidnap Pérez to take his boat and his fortune for themselves. Lucía, with the help of her cousin Ramiro, disobeys her parents and sets out to rescue Pérez, thus beginning a fascinating adventure with an outcome that just goes to show that you don’t have to be a child to believe.

Se trata de un joven ambicioso y tramposo que hace creer a los niños que es su aliado, pero su verdadera intención es sacar al Ratoncito Pérez del medio y quedarse con su imperio de perlas.

Ficción

El Destino

In the mid-sixteenth century two indigenous Americans are working on a seam of clay in the Cerro Colorado. Suddenly, they see a column of Spanish soldiers approaching from the distance.

Two Franciscan priests are marching at the head of the procession carrying a wooden cross and a beautiful gold chalice. The meeting is unavoidable… Five hundred years later a small airplane lands on a desolate landing strip in the Andean high plateau.

Pedro, a Spaniard wearing a priest’s cassock, gets out. His task is simple. He has to hand over a case of money and return with the cocaine to be sold. However destiny has other plans in store for him.

Manuel Mallo and Marta Castillo are both journalists who have spent years investigating the Anti-terrorist Liberacion Group´s (GAL) operations that took place on French soil against members of ETA between 1983 – 1987.

Va a ser que nadie es perfecto

Carlos (Fernando Tejero) is blind, Rubén (Santi Millan) is deaf and Dani (José Luis García Pérez) is lame. When Carlos decides to marry his life-long girlfriend his friends Ruben and Dani want to celebrate with a great stag party.

Each one of the friends has a dream and the stag party is the best time for them to fulfil it. Ruben wants to sing, Dani to dance in the water and Carlos to drive a car at 100 miles an hour.

 

Carlos (Fernando Tejero) es ciego, Rubén (Santi Millan) es sordo, y Dani (José Luis García Pérez) es cojo. Cuando Carlos decide casarse con su novia de toda la vida, sus amigos Rubén y Dani quieren celebrar una despedida de soltero de primera.

Cada uno tiene un sueño, y éste es el día perfecto para cumplirlo: Rubén cantar, Dani bailar en el agua y Carlos conducir un coche a 120 km/h.

Yo soy la Juani

Juani has got problems at home and argues with her boyfriend. Nobody can put up with her. They have been together since they were fifteen but his jealousy and indecisiveness are unbearable. Juani explodes, leaves him and decides to do everything she hasn’t done while she’s been wasting her time with him.

El laberinto del fauno = Pan’s Labyrinth

In 1944, the fith year of peace, a thirteen-year-old girl, Ofelia, moves to a small village with her mother, Carmen who is in the last stages of pregnancy. Vidal, a cruel captain of the Francoist army and Carmen’s new husband is stationed in this village but Ofelia feels no affection whatsoever for this man. Vidal’s mission is to finish off the last traces of republican resistance hidden in the mountains of the region. Vidal’s centre of operations is also to be found here in a mill where Mercedes, a young girl in charge of the other members of the domestic staff and the doctor who will be in charge of Carmen in her delicate state of health are also waiting for them. One night Ofelia discovers the ruins of a labyrinth where she meets a faun, a strange creature who makes an incredible revelation. 1944, quinto año de paz. Ofelia, una niña de 13 años se traslada junto a su madre, Carmen, en avanzado estado de gestación, hasta un pequeño pueblo en el que se encuentra destacado Vidal, un cruel capitán del ejército franquista, nuevo marido de Carmen y por el que Ofelia no siente ningún afecto. La misión de Vidal es acabar con los últimos vestigios de la resistencia republicana, escondida en los montes de la zona. También ahí se halla el molino donde Vidal tiene su centro de operaciones; en él les aguardan Mercedes, una joven que se encuentra a cargo de los demás miembros del servicio, y el doctor, que se hará cargo del delicado estado de salud de Carmen. Una noche Ofelia descubre las ruinas de un laberinto donde se encuentra con un fauno, una extraña criatura que le hace una increíble revelación: Ofelia es en realidad una princesa, última de su estirpe, a la que los suyos llevan mucho tiempo esperando. Los Borgia

It is the 15th century and Rodrigo Borgia lives in Rome with his Spanish family. As time goes by his power and influence have grown and he is named Pope, something which in the future is to help his four children, Juan, César, Lucrecia and Jofré.

The new Pope dreams of gaining new territory for the Vatican in any way possible. He appoints Juan, his eldest son as captain of his army. His second born, César is appointed as cardinal and his only girl, Lucrecia is to marry Juan Sforza. Finally he forces Jofré, his youngest boy to marry Sancha de Aragón.

However, César does not accept his fate and quarrels with his brother over the military post. When Juan is assasinated César assumes his position and conquers the neighbouring territory in the name of the Pope.

The Borgia family have unfortunately acquired many enemys over time. Old rivalries have hatched dark plots which will place the family´s hemegony in great danger.

En el s.XV, Rodrigo Borgia es el padre de una familia española residente en Roma. Su poder e influencia ha crecido con los años y ha conseguido que le nombre Papa, algo que beneficiará a sus cuatro hijos Juan, César, Lucrecia y Jofré.

El nuevo Papa sueña con aumentar los territorios del Vaticano de todas las formas posibles. Para ello nombra capitán de sus ejércitos a Juan, su hijo mayor; a su hijo segundo, César, lo nombra cardenal y para su única hija, Lucrecia, acuerda el matrimonio con Juan Sforza. Finalmente obliga a Jofré, su hijo pequeño, a casarse con Sancha de Aragón.

César no acepta su destino y rivaliza con su hermano por el mando del ejército. Cuando Juan muere asesinado, deja los hábitos y conquista los territorios vecinos al frente de los ejércitos del Papa. Pero los enemigos de los Borgia han ido aumentando con el paso del tiempo.

Las antiguas rivalidades germinan convertidas en oscuras tramas que van a poner en peligro la hegemonía de la familia en Roma.
