Javi, Seba and Leche are three friends who spend their days with nothing to do. Reluctant to work, study or commit to anything, their fun consists of meeting up in the barrio to smoke, drink beer and moan about life.

When they are separated, they each pass the time in different ways: Javi driving a ridiculous car whose loudspeaker advertises products, fighting with his boss´ son who tries to give him lessons in life. Leche studying for his final exam in Italian while trying to seduce his private teacher, and  Seba renting porn films and using his paraplegic grandmother as an antenna…yes, as an antenna.

Nada

Carla Pérez Works in the Cuban Postal Administration. She believes that a Cuban post office, or that a post office in whichever other part of the world, is a junction of emotional contents and that the letters are often clumsily written.

El misterio del Trinidad

Joaquin, an old engineer dies while looking for the wreck of a Spanish galleon sunk in the XVIII century. In his will he leaves his boat to his 38 year old son Juan, the child of an extramarital affair.

The natural heirs start procedures to contest the will even using dubious methods to get what they want.

Juan decides to explore and find the galleon which brought about his father’s death, but he has to face two challenges; the first is his struggle with the legitimate family to keep the boat and the second his efforts to find the wrecked ship which is supposed to hold fabulous treasures.

Joaquín, viejo ingeniero muere buscando restos de un galeón español hundido en el siglo XVIII. En su testamento deja su barco a su hijo Juan de 38 años, fruto de una relación extramatrimonial.

Los herederos naturales inician la impugnación del testamento, los cuales llegarán incluso a utilizar malas maneras para salirse con la suya.

Juan decide explorar y encontrar el galeón que le costó la vida a su padre, por lo cual se tendrá que enfrentar a dos retos, luchar contra la familia legítima para mantener su barco y encontrar el buque hundido que dicen alberga un fabuloso tesoro.

Lucia a shy, mysteriously beautiful young woman begins a passionate relationship with one of her students a marginalized teenager called Israel.

The young man starts to visit the decadent mansion where Laura lives with her grandparents, Irene and Luis, with the intention of taking advantage of her. During one of these secret meetings Luis finds out and violence flares up unexpectedly revealing the dark secrets of the house. This leads the couple into an increasingly dangerous game in which no-one knows who is using who. Laura uses Israel as a tool for her vengeance dragging them all to destruction.

La leyenda del Unicornio

We are in a quiet fishing village in the moment the fishermen head forthe sea. As soon as they are off a series of monsters arrive at the village to frighten the children. One day a  very cross unicorn who is trying to find his lost child arrives in the village. The unicorn believes his child went missing when the fishermen caught him with the idea of drowning him into the sea.

Marina, helped by a magician, decides to start the seach of the baby unicorn in the bottom of the sea. There they will find fun characters which would eventually chose her as the young princess of the great depths.

En un tranquilo pueblecito de pescadores los padres han de ir a la mar. En ese momento una serie de monstruos llegan al pueblo para asustar a los niños. Un día aparece un unicornio muy enfadado que anda en busca de su hijo desaparecido, el unicornio cree que la culpa de la perdida de su hijo la tienen los pescadores y quiere hundirlos en el fondo del mar.

Marina, ayudada por un mago, decide iniciar la búsqueda de la cría del unicornio en el fondo del mar. Allí encontrará a divertidos personajes que querrán convertirla en la joven princesa de las profundidades.

Sin noticias de Dios

Heaven has problems: the numbers of souls entering Heaven is decreasing, no one is passing the entrance exams, and the figures indicate complications. Hell, on the other hand, has had a surge of new inmates and the obvious housing problems that incurs.

It seems that the Battle between Good and Evil has been won by the baddies, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. It seems that Heaven has received a petition: a woman has asked for her son’s soul to be saved, a boxer with a dark past, and who it would seem is Heaven’s last chance to tip the balance in it’s own favour. The task is clear: turn the boxer’s soul to one side or the other and the most capable angels (from both sides) will decide the course of history.

El cielo tiene problemas: el número de almas que entra al Cielo va en descenso, nadie pasa los exámenes de entrada, y las cifras indican complicaciones. El Infierno, por el contrario, tiene una oleada de nuevos internos y los obvios problemas de espacio que esto provoca.

Parece que la batalla entre el Biel y el Mal ha sido ganada por los malos, pero la luz al final del túnel aparece cuando el Cielo recibe una petición: una madre ha pedido por la salvación del alma de su hijo, un boxeador de pasado oscuro, y al parecer es la última oportunidad de que la balanza se incline hacia el lado Celestial.

El trabajo es muy claro: ganar el alma del boxeador para uno u otro lado, y así es como los ángeles más capacitados -de ambos lados- serán los encargados de decidir el curso de la Historia.

Carne de gallina

In the Quierno family happiness and good humour reigns. On Mondays comes the awaited money that makes their life pink. Also, for more happiness, Glorina gets married, and for her wedding they bought a new house.

However, the wedding will change their lives but not as precisely as they had hoped. After ther party, the godfather, Luison Quiros, dies leaving his family, all unemployed, without his succulent pension and the house in where they live dependent on thread on a mortgage.

En la familia Quirós reina el buen humor y la alegría. El lunes les llega el esperado dinero que hará su vida de color de rosa. Además, para mayor felicidad, se casa Glorina (una boca menos que alimentar.. ¡je, je!) y para su boda han tirado la casa por la ventana.

Sin embargo, la boda va a cambiar su svidas pero no precisamente como sueñan. Tras el banquete, el padrino, Luisón Quirós, muere, dejando a su familia (toda ella en paro) sin su suculenta pensión y con la casa donde habitan pendiente del hilo de una hipoteca.

Reflejos

Jaime Narbona, inspector of Judicial Law, arrives at the scene of a crime. The son of Toni Baena, a friend of his, has been killed. On one of the walls of the house is the message: “Welcome to the game”.

 From the first moment, Jaime’s primary is suspect is Lázaro Herranz, an alleged serial killer whom in the past Jaime has tried to imprison. The cruel killings continue to take place, and Jaime’s obsession makes him carry on believing that each new crime will help to prove that Lázaro is the guilty party, but the truth is very different to how he imagined.

El deseo de ser piel roja

Tánger. One day, on leaving the hotel he is staying at, Martin overhears a violent discussion between Abel and Ana. Ana doesn’t want Abel to leave her on her own, but he eventually leaves, after humiliating her.

Later, Abel and Martin meet in a bar and, after talking, they find out that they are from nearby villages in the same region where Abel used to go hunting and where now there is a nuclear power station.

Half joking, and under the influence of alcohol, Martin tells Abel that the station should be blown up. After dragging Martín with him to find Ana, who is back in Spain, for Abel, the idea to blow up the nuclear power station becomes an obsession. Martín follows him in his delirium because he too becomes obsessed but with Ana.

Amar y morir en Sevilla (Don Juan Tenorio)

Don Juan Tenorio (Antonio Doblas), accompanied by his loyal servant Ciutti (Paco León), returns to Sevilla to settle the bet he made with Don Luis Mejía (José Luis Garcia). The said bet consists of the two behaving worse with improving fortune. The two agree to make a new bet as they killed a similar number of men and seduced the same women. 

The new bet consists of Don Juan having to seduce a novice and a virgin who is about to marry; the stipulated time to complete the bet is six days. Don Juan warns Don Luis that the virgin will be Doña Ana de Pantoja, with whom Don Luis will marry. The one who loses will pay with his life.

Don Juan Tenorio (Antonio Doblas), acompañado de su fiel criado Ciutti (Paco León), regresa a Sevilla para resolver la apuesta que hizo con Don Luis Mejía (José Luis Garcia). Dicha apuesta consiste en cuál de los dos ha obrado peor con mejor fortuna. Los dos quedan emplazados a una nueva apuesta ya que han matado a un número similar de hombres y conquistado a las mismas mujeres.

La nueva apuesta consiste en que Don Juan tiene que conquistar a una novicia y a una doncella que esté a punto de casarse; el tiempo estipulado son seis días. Don Juan advierte a Don Luis que la doncella será Doña Ana de Pantoja, con la que Don Luis va a casarse. El que pierda pagará con su vida.

Fausto 5.0

Doctor Fausto is a man whose life crumbles. He is a specialist in the field of terminal illness, all of his life helps people clos to death. Himself, is shut in a busy and heartless job, he is turning into a corpse.

The onyl contact that Julio has is his helper Julia. The doctor needs to participate in a convention on terminal medicine that is celebrated in an indefinite city, a futurist and declining, reflected landscape urban of the ill and worn away society of the moment.

El doctor Fausto es un hombre cuya vida se desmorona. Especialista en el campo de la medicina terminal, toda su vida transucrre entre pacientes al borde de la muerte. Él mismo, encerrado en un trabajo rutinario y desalmado, se está convirtiendo en un cadáver.

El único contacto que el doctor tiene con la realidad es Julia, su ayudante. El Doctor Fausto tiene que participar en una convención sobre medicina terminal que se celebra en una ciudad indefinida, un paisaje urbano futurista y decadente, reflejo de la sociedad enferma y desgastada del momento.

Al llegar tropieza con Santos Vella, un hombre que afirma haber sido paciente suyo. Lo que Santos le dice, asombra y asusta a Fausto: asegura haberle desahuciado ocho años atrás. Julio and Tenoch are typical oversexed and under occupied teenagers.

During a festive afternoon with their famillies they meet Luisa, a twenty eight year old spaniard, and flirt with her with all the style and grace seventeen year olds are known for.

As a joke they invite her to accompany them on a road trip to a beach called “boca del cielo” (heavens mouth) neglecting to mention that they wouldn’t know were to find it, even if it actually exist. To their astonishment, she accepts.

Las vidas de Julio y Tenoch, dos jóvenes de diecisiete años, están regidas por sus hormonas, su amistad y por su deseo de alcanzar la madurez.

Durante una festiva tarde con sus familias, conocen a Luisa, una española de veintiocho años de edad, con la que coquetean con todo el estilo y gracia característico de los jóvenes de su edad. Entre bromas, la invitan a que les acompañe en un viaje a una playa imaginaria a la que llaman Boca del Cielo.

Luisa les ignora amablemente, toman rumbos distintos y todo parece quedar olvidado. Sin embargo, Luisa recibe unas noticias devastadoras, y ante la necesidad de un cambio en su vida, localiza a los muchachos y acepta su oferta.

Los pasos perdidos

“The lost steps” is an Argentinean-Spanish co-production  which narrates the story of Mónica Erigaray, a twenty-two year old girl who lives in a small city by the Mediterranean Sea with her parents, Ernesto, a well off Argentinean owner of a concessionaire of automobiles and Ines, her mother.

Mónica’s life passes as the life any other youngster educated within a very conservative family would pass. But this atmosphere of apparent well-being which surrounds Mónica and her parents, starts crumbling after the arrival at Spain of Bruno Leardi, a well-known Argentine writer, who questions the origin of the family by declaring Mónica to be his granddaughter, born to his own son and his daughter-in-law while they were being held in captivity and who ended up being made dissapear by the militars during the Argentine dictatorship.

From this very moment the past of the Erigaray family is put in question, triggering a legal, moral and psychological struggle between the writer and the family which will alter the relationship between all the personages whose different reactions will be threading a history of mixed pain and suspense which is the background for the aggressive affirmation process into which Mónica is unexpectedly led, unleashing feelings of restlessness and doubt.

Los pasos perdidos es una coproducción argentino-española que narra la historia de Mónica Erigaray, una joven de veintidos años que vive en una pequeña ciudad a orillas del Mediterráneo con sus padres. Ernesto, un argentino de buen pasar económico dueño de un concesionario de automóviles e Inés.

La vida de Mónica transcurre como la de cualquier joven criada en una familia fuertemente conservadora. Pero este ambiente de aparente bienestar, en el que viven Mónica y sus padres, se rompe con la llegada a España de Bruno Leardi, un conocido escritor argentino, que pone en entredicho el origen de esta familia, reclamando a la chica como nieta suya, hija de su hijo y su nuera detenidos, desaparecidos durante la última dictadura militar argentina.

A partir de esta reclamación, que apunta directamente al pasado de la familia Erigaray, comienza una pugna jurídica, moral y psicológica entre el escritor y la familia que alterará las relaciones entre todos los personajes que, con sus distintas reacciones irán hilvanando una historia en la que se mezclan el dolor y el suspense y en la que se desgrana el proceso de agresiva afirmación, inquietud y duda al que la joven Monica se ve, inesperadamente abocada.

La mujer de mi vida

Ramón (Emilio Gutiérrez-Caba) an egotistic film producer who can only be moved when there is money or women, is informed, moments after receiving the Goya, to go to a sorcerer to his friend Enrique (Pepe Sancho), an actor more or less with an addiction to drugs.

Faby (Leticia Bredice), a beautiful young, Peruvian girl without work papers in the bar where Enrique is unconscious, is who informs Ramón. The producer, fascinated by Faby and knows her problems with the permission of residence, decides to match her with Enrique.

Ramón (Emilio Gutiérrez-Caba) un productor de cine ególatra al que sólo parecen moverle el dinero y las mujeres, es avisado, momentos después de recibir el Goya, para ir a socorrer a su amigo Enrique (Pepe Sancho), un actor venido a menos y adicto a la droga.

Faby (Leticia Bredice), una hermosa joven peruana sin papeles que trabaja en el bar donde Enrique está desmayado, es quien avisa a Ramón. El productor, fascinado por Faby y al conocer sus problemas con el permiso de residencia, decide casarla con Enrique.

Juana la Loca

The encounter is flashing. Hardly to watch itself, is born among them an attraction and an uncontrollable desire. They forget its political obligations and they give in the feelings. Nevertheless, the destiny has other plans for them. The deaths of their older brothers and their mother Isabel the Catholic, turn to infant Juana queen of Castile and heiress of the crown of Aragón. Laredo, 22 de agosto de 1946. Una flota parte con destino a Flandes. Su objetivo es conducir a la infanta Juana a la corte de Bruselas, donde contraerá matrimonio con el que más tarde será conocido como Felipe el Hermoso.

El encuentro es fulgurante. Apenas mirarse, nace entre ellos una atracción y un deseo incontrolable. Se olvidan de sus obligaciones políticas y se abandonan a los sentimientos. Sin embargo, el destino tiene otros planes para ellos. Las muertes de sus hermanos mayores y de su madre Isabel la Católica, convierten a la infanta Juana en reina de Castilla y heredera de la corona de Aragón. Estos acontecimientos desembocarán en dos batallas: una política, entre la nobleza flamenca y la castellana, la otra, mucho más dolorosa, será la que libre Juana en el lecho conyugal.

The lure of easy money throws him off the straight and narrow road to the rich neighbourhoods wherein lies the cash that will help him pay off his beat-up taxicab.

After various bungled burglaries and overwhelmed by a zero-tolerance police drive, the inept thieves end up in Ulises’ home, trespassing on him and Javiera, his beloved daughter. This situation is too much for Ulises, who resolves to end the partnership in a drastic way.

Esta comedia negra narra la odisea de un taxista llamado Ulises que cree poder salir de sus estrecheces haciéndos cómplice de sus asaltantes.

El dinero fácil lo tienta; en algún lugar del barrio alto está el gran botín que le permitirá pagar el Lada. Tras varios asaltos fallidos y agobiados por la “Tolerancia Cero” los asaltantes de pacotilla terminan metidos en la casa de Ulises, en su intimidad y en la de Javiera, su hija regalona. Cuando quiere dar marcha atrás Ulises comprende que solo tiene por delante el camino de la traición.
